I learned an important life lesson back when a friend of mine was in the Air Force and stationed in Hawaii.
Too bad he didn't implement this lesson online more quickly.
From 2004 to 2008 he was stationed at Hickam AFB.
He used to go down to Waikiki Beach and surf all the time.
One day, while he was out surfing with a Hawaiian friend, he noticed how his friend never got tired.
He would be out there for 45 minutes and be completely exhausted, while his friend could stay out for hours.
So, he asked him how he had such endurance.
He said, "Hey Brah, you tryin' to surf every single wave... Only surf the waves that matter. Let the other ones go by."
It was true..
He was out there paddling like a madman trying to get to every wave that came along, even if the wave was small and didn't give him that good of a ride...
...and because of that, he would tire out fast.
Meanwhile, his Hawaiian friend would only surf the perfectly formed bigger waves.
He had a heck of a lot more fun and stayed out on the ocean longer.
Recently he was thinking about that moment and how much that advice applies to making $ online too.
There are so many 'little waves' of opportunity out there that aren't worth your time or energy..
They won't take you anywhere worth going and keep you away from where the BIG $ is.
You've got to let those waves roll on by..
Focus on the BIG waves..
